Wisconsin Science Fest Returns

It was an easy decision for everyone involved.  Colossal Fossils was going to host the Wisconsin Science Festival again in its hometown of Wausau, Wisconsin.  After the success of last year's event, the non-profit organization wanted to provide more opportunities for Central Wisconsin's families to learn and make new scientific discoveries.

The only difference...

It was going to be bigger and better than ever before!

On October 11-13, 2018, Central Wisconsin's only dinosaur museum will be hosting this science-focused festival at its home base nestled in the East wing of the Wausau Center Mall.  Slowly, the museum has been unveiling new events and activities that will be held at the mall.

Kids will have an opportunity to make slime and take it home.  Flashlight tours will also be held during the first hour each day of the event.  Colossal Fossils is also branching out into other areas of science and showcasing a beautiful scale model of our solar system.  Additional surprises and announcements await!
